Hello, just signed up a bit ago...  I live in KCMO and am lookin forward to a spring and summer full of fishing!  I grew up near a lake in southeast Missouri and fished a great deal as a kid.  I gotaway from it for a while, but now I am ready to take my kids fishing.  I am looking for great spots to fish and looking forward to meeting new people to chat and fish with as well!

Thanks,

P@

Glad to have you with us.

Ever go to the Plaza?

I lived in KC for two years as a child and all I remember is the Plaza illuminated with the Christmas lights.  :)

Welcome aboard from NY !

I grew up Bassing just east of KC {and Lee's Summit}, out at Lake Lottawanna each summer, as a young kid back in the early 1960s, when we'd go visit my grandparents that had a summer lakefront home there.

My dad, and also my grandfather[his Dad], spent endless hours with me back then, showing me Bass fishing lures and teaching me how to use them, with a Jitterbug my first lure ever of my own back in 1960.

Jitterbugs still catch fish for me today, 50 years later.

I have such golden memories of those times.

My grandparents year-round home used to be on east 77th, right in Kansas City.
