St.Joeriversmallie Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Hey, im from Niles Michigan. I fish mostly on the St. Joe River in Niles MI. Mainly fish for smallies but like any good fight. Run into some walleye and some nice largemouths on the river but mostly smallmouth. My grandparents lived on Pipestone Lake in Eau Claire Michigan so i grew up fishing. It wasnt until i was in my early 20s did really start to fish regularly though. Now from spring till fall im usually out 2-4 times a week. Half the time with my 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son. Thanks and hello to all members. Quote

Just boat launches freeze. Ive been out 5 times on the river so far. 3 bites no fish. River temp is 47.5. Be out sunday too rain or shine. Thanks for all the welcomes. Quote
