Just something he catches lots of fish on in stocked ponds, so people think they need one. Good marketing technique- Come out with something new and crazy, give it to a fishing legend who fishes on private ponds. Film him catching fish after fish, sell it for $6. Big Mike in Fl Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 they do work tho, almost a mix between a buzz bait, a spinner bait and a swim jig, it is supposed to help the fish zone in on the body of the bait, rater than the sound, and with the longer shank, it sorta dances back and forth, hence the name. Like I said, they do work,I've caught fish on them, btu I wouldn't say they are any more effective than a regular buzz bait, or spinner bait. Quote

Big Mike in Fl Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 How do you even cast that thing??? :-? can't do a quick snap over hand, thats for sure, tis more like a sweeping carolina rig toss. as I said tho, they do work...don't discount them too bad on the weirdness of how they look, and also I have caughta 4+ on one, ti held up alright. one more thing to consider with this, it doesn't run 15" behind the blade, it sorta sits down in the water at a 45 degree angle, so its not as far away as it seems, but its down about 4" into the water, which is why it is supposed to give the fish a better look at it. The Dancin Buzz's jig head swims farther under the water than the typical buzz bait, which I believe results in more strikes. The fish doesn't have to break the surface to get the hook. I really like to throw a buzz bait and if I'm gettting a lot of short strikes and not true blow ups I'll throw the longer one and catch fish. Like most other lures it has a time and place. The Dancin Buzz and the Dancin eel are not in the same category as the eel is a piece of crap and the buzz actually works. Quote

I like them because the bait hangs below and behind the buzzer. Does it work anybetter than a regular buzzbait? The jury is still out on that one.... Quote
