cook91c Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 whats up everyone? I have lived in jersey all my life. I do a lot of freshwater and saltwater fishing in nj. I have some family in tn so i get to fish down there a few times a year 2. I like bass fishing more then any other fishing even though i have a boat and salt water right out my back door. I like these forum websites there is always a lot to learn from the people on them and i am always trying to learn more Quote

Wild Bill [NY] Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Cook, Welcome from a guy that originally lived in NJ until "86, when I moved out to Long Island NY. I still fish many NJ waters every year. Where at in jersey do you fish? I have fished : Hopatcong Spruce Run Round Valley Aeroflex Monksville The Passaic river The Delaware River The Salem Game Canal South Branch of Raritan The Pequest River Pointview Res Pompton Lake Manasquan Res Merrill Creek and many, many more... We also built three private ponds on our farm in Long Valley that we stocked with LMs. By building the ponds on our property, not only did we give ourselves a recreational facility, but we also then got a huge discount on our fire insurance for our structures, as there are no water hydrants in that area. I will be hosting an event on Waywayanda in May, which is right by the NY border. Quote

Wild Bill [NY] Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 DVT, We should try and hook up somewhere to fish together. I am living out on Long Island, but I fish a lot of waters along both the rt 78 and rt 80 corridors on my Ranger. I was born and raised in NJ, and moved out here in 86 Quote
