CODbasser Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 i was curious if anyone has tried the berkley saltwater baits for bass...there are alot of good looking swimbait type lures, and jerk shads made by berkley for saltwater that i think would be attractive to bass. The scent of the salt water baits are a bit different than the scent of the freshwater baits. i was just wondering if this had any kind of negative affect on bass, and if anyone has tried them with success while bass fishing. T-Bone Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 I've used the Yum shrimp flavored scent before while fishing for bass and caught a bunch of fish with it. So I don't see why any other saltwater scent would not work. But I fish a bunch of brackish water, so I don't know how well it would work in inland freshwater. Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted April 20, 2009 Super User Posted April 20, 2009 I don't buy much in the way of freshwater baits or lures, I use my saltwater stuff for bass and it works just fine Quote
