TimJ Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I am looking forward to this new resource. If my responses to my first post are any indication, this is a very friendly community. I will fish for anything but I really enjoy bass and walleye fishing. Both smallies and largemouth, but mostly smallies as they are so plentiful here in Lks.St.Clair and Erie as well as the Detroit River. These waters surround me on the N, W and S. My sons enjoy fishing for anything and I try to travel and fish around Ontario with them. We are looking forward to FLA in March...Toho bass plus more! Take care. TJ Quote

Super User Tin Posted November 20, 2009 Super User Posted November 20, 2009 Welcome eh! You guys have some awesome fishing up there, I just found out about that 5 for 30.35 bag of smallies out of Quebec. I can't believe there is a better lake than Simcoe out there. Quote

Black Bass Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Welcome to BR! It's a great resource. You're gonna like it here. Quote
TimJ Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 Thank you all for the welcome. RoLo-I'd love to help you with the pike but we don't fish them much in this area. Most pike around here are incidental and not usually big, although we have nailed a few bigger fish deep on St.Clair recently...never did before! I can help with spring walleye on the Detroit R. It is relatively easy for anyone in the spring...incl the kids. Maltese-hey neighbour...fished Toho in 06 and 08 with shiners and a guide. My wife can't get time off so my sons and I are going with the boat. Time to see if I learned anything! Fishin Daddy-a very generous offer. Thank you and I will contact you. TJ Quote
