BassShephard Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Hello, I started fishing more this year because I hadn't fished in nearly 3 years not that I didn't want to but most people I know like to hunt and dread fishing which is opposite for me (fishing by yourself isnt as fun). I promised myself to go fishing more which I did stick to my word, I fished more this summer then in my whole life lol even in poor down rain/thunder to 101 degree weather, I've learned a lot in just a few months so I came here to learn even more! Trying to find new fishing holes around my area, I hate driving so I stick close to the waters in the area a few ponds, lake Chesdin, Notoway river. Just checked out Nottoway Lake (or lee lake) no luck I did catch a snapping turtle if that counts. I went to a place today I haven't been since I was a kid Stoney Creek, actually found out its just a small walk from were I work and 2 of my Fav ponds (nothing big but I caught some pretty Redbreast sunfish there). Nottoway would have to be my Fav fishing spot the river is very diversified as well as its species of fish. Quote
