Greetings fellow fish-heads. I'm new to the site and I really like it. I fish mainly in NC and SC. Probably fish Lake Wylie the most right now.  I like to fish local tournaments, and fishing with my fiance'. Hope to be posting regularly. ;)

Hey bigbub, ya got one Wylie fisher here. Love it. Been working on figuring out Wylie for the last year or so. Generally launch from South Point in Gaston County.

Hi M Starr! I've been fishing Wylie regularly for about three years now. It's really been tough this summer. I fish the Gaffney SC tourneys on Sat. nites out of Buster Boyd. I think I've put in at Southpoint 1 time. I do fish the Withers cove area some and back down to the lower lake area, Big and Little Allison. I'm still trying to learn the lake myself. Hey maybe we can hook up and do some fishing sometme. Nice meeting you. ;D

Sounds like a plan Bigbub!

I have not gotten to allison yet, but been working my way down there. I will generally go from seven oaks up to I-85 (sometimes a little past I-85).

Yeah this summer has been really tough. Have had a little luck up there but not a ton.

Thnks everyone, you really know how to make someone feel welcome. Hey M Starr, I've never been above the steam plant, but would like to know more about the upper end. Maybe when it cools down we can get together and do some fishing.

I never turn down an excuse to fish...shoot me a PM when you get the itch.

There are some interesting areas above the steam plant.

I have not gotten down to the lower end to much so maybe we could collaborate and get the full lake picture.
