Slip Gun Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Hey! I'm from Fairfax and recently started getting into fishing. Ive been fishing The Potomac and lake Accotink recently and have until today had little luck but a great time. I have gotten tons of cats out of the Potomac and a few carp and sunfish but today I was at lake and I wanted to give a big thanks road warrior for his fake worm fishing guide because it got me my first large mouth . Anyways background im using a Shamano Citica reel and a m bass pro shop rod right now, seems to be a pretty good starter set but right now I'm just trying to get the feel of everything. Anyways nice to meet you all and thanks for your great forum I have been trolling for about a week and have learned tons already! Quote

Slip Gun Posted July 15, 2009 Author Posted July 15, 2009 Yeah sorry senkos. Still getting all the wording down took me lurking the forum to even figure out the difference between baitcasters and spinning reel. Thanks for the kind welcome, I have been loving the information on here and I think my friends are enjoying my research as much as I am. Quote
