bmadd Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Back when I fished lead weights on my texas rigs, I always used part of a toothpick to peg my weights. Since I've been using tungsten for a while, I've noticed that the toothpicks don't work as well with it. Anybody have any other cheap, ingenious methods of pegging tungsten weights? Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I use the same old tooth pick trick on Tungsten with no issues! The BPS bobber stops work good too. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_44440_100010004_100000000_100010000_100-10-4 Quote
flipin4bass Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I use nothing but tungsten and have been pegging my weights using this method for awhile now. Works great. http://billdanceoutdoors.com/simplemachinesforum/index.php?topic=12923.msg120029#msg120029 Quote
egolfer Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I was pegging 1oz tungsten weights with a toothpick on 50lb and 65lb braid until I broke some fish off. I started using those black, rubber inserts used for mojo rigging. Have not had a problem in years. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_30021_100010003_100000000_100010000_100-10-3 Quote
