I am originally from South Georgia.  I'm a Navy Chief on recruiting duty in south Florida.  I'm always looking for new places to fish and would fish every day, all day if I could.  I would love to be able to fish some tournaments also.  I've been in the Navy 11 years, I'm a submariner and have done a 6 month tour in Iraq.  I have been fishing my entire life, my uncle has a pic of me fishing when I was 2.  I simply love fishing.

good to have ya here, eh!

and, ya.... as for the avatar, wow does it suck when that happens!!!

i once had the same instance with the largest size yo-zuri crystal minnow....the rear trebble was completely through my pointer finger, and the front trebble was lodged in a dock, about 2 ft above my head...(i was wade fishing in the indian river).....

not fun.

i had finally caught a nice peacock bass, got her on the bank and went to dislodge the hook when she jumped and sent the lure from her mouth into my hand, all the other hooks were not too deep, just that one.  i didn't have any cutters with me so i spent 2 hours at an emergency room.  the shot they gave me to numb it hurt worse than getting the hook in!
