instead of applying megastrike before i use each plastic, i recently decided to add some to each bag of plastics.  then move them around in the bag to grease them up that way.  the whole bag.

i know it is easier that way.....but my question is....

since the "strike" will be on there for a while, maybe all summer, if i don't use the whole bag.  will if affect the plastic, break it down?  or lose the effectiveness of the megastrike.  i have the "old" formula and really like it.

is it bad to put it on and not use that particular plastic for a long time?

If the bag gets warm the MegaStrike gets messy.

A key attribute of this product is just how "user

friendly" it is to work with. I recommend applying

the gel as you use your baits, not pre-applying.

I too have found it to be kinda messy adding it that way in the bag.It gets nasty in the summer heat.I also like to wait to apply just before use since I also put a generous amount on my sinker, hook and first foot or so of line.

Oh yeah, keeps the junk off the line and bait.

great idea about putting it on the line a few feet.

i can see where in the summer they will get really messy.  so..... i will take them out of the ziplock i have already done it with and try to "clean" them up a bit and put them in another one.

after i did it, i was concerned about maybe "breaking down" the plastics if on there too long???

obviously i was bored and just had to do something "fishing related" one day when it was too cold to fish...

thanks...
