New to the site and just wanted to say hi,  I like the site so far.  I grew up on the fox chain o' lakes fishing for bluegills.  I cut my teeth catching bass on silver lake in so. wis. along with a few other lakes in that area.  My dad and I joined a small club called tri-county anglers to get started in bass fishing.  I won my first tourament when I was 13 on the fox chain.  I only had one fish that tourny, ended up getting 1st and big bass honors,a monster was born at that moment!!! There were only 3 other fish caught that day.  From there my dad and I started fishing Northland tournaments on the Fox Chain in 2000,  we were awarded team of the year the first year we fished team tourny's. That was very cool!!  Since then we have always been a threat on the chain.  If you have never been there and you're in driving distance you need to check it out!! That last couple of years have been rediculous!!!!!  This past summer a good friend of mine weighed in a 20+lb bag on a four hour wed night tourny!! and my partner and I almost broke the alltime heaviest bag on wed night.  Weighing 21.31, it was set in a spawn tourny,  the night we almost broke it I had a half hour pre-fish time after work and only had a 2 bites on my favorite lake and decided that if we got a good enought number we would run up there and give er' hell.  We ended up with 5 fish that went 19.29, I can still see that 6th fish that was laughing and spitting my frog back at me!!!!  Oh well that fishing, I aspire to be able to fish for a living one day.  Due to the lack of work this past year I pretty much did.  Tournament winnings pretty much payed my bills and tackle bills this year.  I hope this year brings more work but I wouldn't mind having a good sunglass tan this year again!!! :D
