I am nailing bass and large bass on the Strike King Burner Spinner in the 90 color aka Sexy Shad (what a horrible name).

3/8 oz and 1/2 oz are really working for me this season.  I vary the speed from fast to slow/twitch and I have been roping in some quality fish.

What other colors or spinners have been working for you this season?

First, welcome to the boards Hatty!

I've only had success with one spinnerbait color up here in MD so far this year (the spinnerbait bite has only started to turn on for me here). The brand I'm using is a discontinued one called XCiter. The color is a bluegill color and there's a fair amount of holofoil strands in the skirt. It's always been a good producer for me this time of year. I need to place an order for my other top producing color since I just lost my last one (fishing from shore). That one is a Picasso in Red Shad.

I've been using the S/K Burner in white and chartruese and have been having great success with it.  I'm a disabled vet and don't have a lot of money and can't afford a lot of baits so, thought "what the heck?"  Why not just combine the two best colors in one and try that.  Been sticking some pretty nice fish with it and just pray I don't lose it!  I've been just "burning" it in and they seem to inhale it. Used to use an old one called the Aggravator (don't know if hey even make it any more), and have done pretty well with it as well, again trying the combination of white and chartruese.  That ole thing refuses to give up the ghost and the fish still seem to like it.
