Hi,

I just discovered this awsome forum. Looks like lots of good info here. I will hopefully asking lots of questing and sharing some good stuff as well.

Thanks,

Thanks for the welcome.

Just to let you know I have done some fishing around Lake Okeechobee and Kissimmee. I have had some luck with pan fish and bass but mostly smaller ones. I've seen some really big ones caught around here but haven't figured out how. I'll post in the bass section some questions.

Thanks!

Tammy

We have several members in Florida that definitely

qualify as Big Bass Boys. Maybe you can arrange to

fish with them sometime. Otherwise, we'll recommend

a couple of Florida guides you can hire. This is the fastest

way to move up the learning curve.

When it comes to the right guy on the best water, George

Welcome is someone I will recommend:

Hi.

Yes I think a guide would be the way to go. I think it's better to learn from someone in person. Recommendations are welcome.  :)

Does anyone have an idea how much it costs for a day with a guide?  :-/  I just want to know how much of my stuff I have to sell off! Just kidding!  :D

George Welcome has complete information on his website,

the one I posted above. His fee is $375 for a party of two.

Guide service is a little cheaper around here, $275 - $350.

I'm sure some other members from your part of Florida

have some other recommendations and will post them soon.

It is super to have another lady on board.

Read, read and read some more.

And keep asking those questions.  :)
