Hello, everyone. I'm a transplant from Tennessee. My wife and I moved a little over a year ago to be a little closer to her family.

I've catfished since I was young, but it took a trip to Natchez, MS last November to remind me of how much I enjoy fishing. A few rods and reels, a tackle box full of lures, and a boat later...I think I have a problem - I work too much!

My wife and I have fished only at Natchez State Park and Lake Okhissa in Mississippi, but we look forward to fishing many more bodies of water in the future.

I am eager to learn from all of you.

A big welcome to the forum.

We love the SEC guys.  The more, the better.

Fishing in Louisiana is fantastic.  From redfish and speckled trout in Venice and the Gulf up to the northern part of the state for bass.  And you have the mighty Mississippi for catfish, etc.

Enjoy the fishing and the hurricanes!

Geaux Tigers.  ;D

The only thing I don't like about college football is the season doesn't last long enough...and USC. ::) ;D Geaux Tigers!!

I haven't gotten into saltwater fishing...yet. I'm really trying to keep my hobby under control.

I'll enjoy the fishing, but I'd prefer to keep the hurricanes at a distance. Gustav came as close as I'd like.
