Hello to all you Bass Anglers. I'm from Madison, North Carolina. I waited before posting this until I could find out more about BassResource.com. I have fished from Patagona Lake in Arizona to the rivers and lakes of Iran but I always came back to North Carolina. My home lake is Belews Lake which is less than 5 miles from home. I have finally found a good forum to be a part of. There are so many friendly people here that are more than willing to let me know whatever I need to know about bass fishing. Now I need to let more people in my area know about BassResource.com. I'm finding it hard to find people in my area on this website. I haven't found many postings from my part of the country. I'm sure there must be members in my area though. The bass forum on BassResource.com has become a tool for catching more and bigger bass. I never heard of a Lake Fork magic shad until getting on this forum, this lure works. Thank you, Brad_Coovert. I am looking forward to reading and learning the more I check out this website. I'm also looking forward to sharing some stories and reading yours and also becoming a better bass fisherman.

Welcome, There are a few members from NC on here but I don't know of any that are close to you. I guide a small lake in the southern part of NC but I never get up around you. There are plenty from VA though. Anyway, Welcome to the family we are glad you like what you see here.

Welcome! I have fished in Iraq in front of Saddam's Palace in Baghdad. I wouldn't sugest eating those. US Army. We used a stick, string out of some 550 cord, a safety pin for a hook and MRE meat. Ugly little critters. Anyhow, welcome!!! I am from Salisbury NC.

Did you catch any of those Saddam bass? The ones that look like snookers from Florida.
