Thank you all.  I am headed to Raystown lake in PA this weekend.  I am def. gonna try some of the techniques I found on here.  I am usually a creek and river fisherman but bought a boat finally and found raystown and have had some luck there but that huge a@# lake is tough to fish with all the traffic throughout the summer.

Congrats on getting the boat! It's been YEARS since I've fished Raystown! Are you from PA? If so, where? I'm originally from PA but I hopped across the Mason Dixon line almost 16 years ago. Good luck with your outing and let us know how you do!

Yep from PA, right near carlisle actually.

Good deal! There are a couple of other anglers on here that are pretty close to you!

Welcome! :)

I'm in Juniata County.

Just wondering, were you fishing a tournament in the Juniata river last weekend? I told a few guys about the site, just wondering if maybe you were one of them.

Nope, no tournament for me.  I was however at James creek, that is where I launched.  My father in law caught most of the fish two weeks ago on a d**n black 1/16 ounce rooster tail!!!!! of all things LOL.  I am going up in the weaver falls area this time and headed up stream to the moving water.  I bought a jet outboard for a reason  8-)
