Triple R Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Hey All, I'm new to the forum and kinda new to bass fishing. I'm looking for any and all information to help get me started in the rite direction. I've spent most of my time saltwater fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. If there is any good books please let me know I need some help understanding some of the terms used like drop shotting,flipping,etc.etc. Thanks. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted June 25, 2008 Super User Posted June 25, 2008 Welcome aboard! Spend some time in the BassResource.com Library, "Fishing Articles" at the top of the page. We have an extensive selection of materials and links to even more! Two books I would highly recommend are available in paperback: In-Fishernman's "Largemouth" and "Smallmouth". These are great introductions to the sport. http://www.amazon.com/Largemouth-Bass-Fisherman-handbook-Strategies/dp/0929384113 http://www.amazon.com/Smallmouth-Bass-Fisherman-Handbook-Strategies/dp/0929384504 Good luck! 8-) Quote
