flippinbaits Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Hey guys, buddy sent me over to this site. Seems very very knowledable. I like what i see ...have a questions already for you guys. Got a Daiwa MegaForce for real cheap (35$). I know it's not one of Daiwa's elite lines, but for the price i couldn't pass it up. It's got the twitch bar on it, dunno if I'll like it or use it however. I was wondering if you can give me some advice on what to team it up with as far as rods. Anybody have a MegaForce...what are their strengths? Thank you. Quote
Super User Catt Posted March 12, 2008 Super User Posted March 12, 2008 How Y'all Are? I would team it up with a Berkeley Lighting Rod Quote
flippinbaits Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 what size and action...do you have experience with the megaforce? Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted March 12, 2008 Super User Posted March 12, 2008 WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I can't help you with your question but someone will. Quote
Bassnbrett101 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 i use the diawas alot it depends on what you want to use it for really. if you want a nice cheaper rod to put it on try the bass pro shops series, i use them alot. a 6'6" medium heavy for jerkbaits and a 6'6" medium for crankbaits. you can also use the 6'6" MH for soft plastics too! Popeye Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Welcome to the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO. As you can already see, there are many great guys and gals who will happily answer all your questions. I can't honestly say much about BC rods and reels since I'm new to them myself but most of the rest of the guys are extremely knowledgeable about them. Again, welcome to BR! Quote
