MtAiryEd Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 I just wanted to say "Hi". I just found this forum and it looks like it can be very informative. I mainly fish in central Maryland...Triadelphia, Little Seneca, Piney Run, and some stretches of the Potomac. I have a 14' aluminum converted to a small bass-boat. I have a few questions if anyone cares to answer. 1) When it gets warm..mid-summer, how deep do you try for largemouth? Triadelphia is about 35'-40' at the deep end where I fish, but I wouldn't think they'd be that deep. 2) Any summer pattern hints for smallmouth, largemouth, and walleye in Triadelphia/Rocky Gorge? 3) In those extremely slow areas of the Potomac, is it worth trying for largemouth there? I don't see a lot of structure (wood, etc). 4) Where can I find some info on those resevoir-rigged electric motors? Thanks!! Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted July 15, 2007 Super User Posted July 15, 2007 Welcome to the best forum on the internet. I can answer questions one and two with the same thing. It's all about the baitfish. I fish as deep as the bait and in areas that have bait close by. For your fourth qestion. Just go to the boating section. There are dozens of us that build and fish the electric boat. I built another one a few months ago. The thread is a sticky in that section. Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 15, 2007 Super User Posted July 15, 2007 How Y'all Are? Fluke pretty much answered 1, 2, & 4 #3 wood is not structure it's cover, large mouths usually prefer slower moving water, again look for bait. Quote
