Honestly how often does every one get out to fish. I honestly get out and fish every day once the ice is gone. spring I'm up at 5am and fish till i go to work at 745 then at 11 i get a hour lunch and there's a bass pond out front so there's my lunch. and then after work i grab my nephew or wife and were in the river for smallies every day rain or shine. that goes on till it freezes and hunting season starts. all is from the bank also and i live on the water and within 20mi of 10 different lakes or rivers life is good ;D

Weather permitting, almost every day, even if its just a short trip to the pond, or some night casting at the outlet.  Winter time, once or twice a week for cold steel, though I've curbed my trips to the bigger rivers.

In season - March to November, I try to go once a week, al day, dawn to dusk.  There will be weeks when I miss, but I will get in 3 or 5 multi day trips in, so it works out.  I don't think I could go every day.  For me, one of the charms of going fishing is the notion that I'm playing hookey, that there is any number of things that I could or probably should be doing, but instead I've going fishing.

I've had extended periods of unemployment in past years, and aside from the limited income part of it, I was just too bummed to have much fun at fishing.

So, for  me, there has got to be a balance between going to work and going fishing and staying on top of other chores around the house.  That's just me.

Unfortunately I'm a weekend warrior.Between working second shift and spending time with my family I'm lucky if it's once a week.If the weather is really bad I may even miss that weekend.

BUT!

I have a small pond at my work that I am allowed to fish during my 20 minute lunch break.......Who needs to eat lunch? Right?  ;D I'll hit that pond any time I can while I'm at work.....weather permitting.

So you could say I fish almost everyday during the spring, summer and fall.Winter everything is frozen.10-15 minutes doesn't really give me a whole lot of time to work with.I can't complain though...least I'm fishing.....

I fish at least once every week sometimes as much as 3 times!  Then I do fish about 6 times a year for a week straight on trips!  So on average about 100 days a year give or take....??

From ice out to about October(chasing whitetails with the bow) Last year I could go like 3 or 4 times a week because I worked with my dad and we had a self business which was awesome for fishing. Now I go into work at 2pm so this year I will fish weekends and a couple mornings during the week hopefully.

When school is in, down at Old Dominion, I usually can only fish during the weekends. But during the summer it's on. Nearly every day at various lakes and ponds. I actually manage a small lake where I live.

Ha my girlfriend is under the suspicion that I enjoy fishing better than hanging with her. Ha I've been fishing all my life. She just doesn't understand.

Last year...(and my usual pattern)

In the spring i fish a total of 8-10 days or say.

Summer, about 4-5 times.

Fall 3 times

Winter   zero

Been 5 months since i went and am DYING to go again. Last time i went in the fall, i did stick another 6 and that has kept me going during school.

Normaly I'm a weekend warrior depending on work. Plus I try to take 2-3 trips a year.

From Memorial Day weekend (Bass opener) until it snows the launches in, (usually sometime in November) I get in 4-5 days per week on average...some weeks more, some weeks a bit less.  I took a part time job recently that may reduce my fishing time somewhat, but believe me, I WILL get my time on the river.

I work 2 weeks and take 2 weeks off. Whe working, no fishing and when not working, perhaps average 2 times a week. I do this year around.

25 days a month on average, starting on Memorial Day bass opener until the deer hunting opener during the first weekend of November.

My family has property on a lake in WI. I leave everything up there. Fishing isn't great around here. So that means i'm strictly a summer time fisherman due to school. In the summer i get up to the lake for 2 weeks at a time and i'm out in that boat all day every day for those 2 weeks. I get about 20-30 days to fish a year.

Not nearly enough. In the spring I'll get out maybe once a week from ice out until the middle of June when my summer job starts. I'm a camp counselor and we work 6 day weeks, plus I usually work at my other part time job on my day off, so if I'm lucky I'll get out 1-2 days total from the middle of June til the end of August. this summer I'm planning on taking a week off though, so hopefully I'll be able to get out a few more times. Once I'm done with grad school hopefully I'll be able to get out more. I'll be working in a school so I hope to be able to fish almost everyday in the summer as I won't have to work.

Fortunate to get to fish year round... pretty much get out 1x/wk over the course of the year. I thought I fished quite a bit until reading some of these responses... that would be awesome to be able to sneak away in the morning before work like some of you, but I'd have a heck of a time leaving if the bite was on!

I fish every day, starting with the ocean or ICW before sunrise.   I will usually go freshwater fishing 2 times during the day, on my way home from the ocean, then an outing in the afternoon.

Every day when there is no ice. I live on a canal and can always at least pull a few pike and bass out. I'll be doing a lot more early fishing this year though because work is going to interfere with my dusk fishing

Last year, it was everyday, but that was because I didn't have a job.

This year, it won't be near as much. I work full time now until I start school in August, so I am thinking 1/4 of last year's time.

do to work and college i am just a weekend warrior. Use to be fri, sat, sun, but my girlfriend really didnt like that. so now its one or maybe two days a year. though i do get two multi day trips in a year with one of my buddies so that makes up for it. ;D

Sadly I'm lucky if I get to go 2 times a month. I probably average out to about 1 1/2 times a month for the year. A few years ago my answer would be everyday rain or shine but things change. I'll get back to fishing multiple times a week but sadly that time is not here yet.

Spring through Fall, it's usually Saturday morning - dawn to 9:00.  The rest of the weekend is family time.  If we have plans for the weekend I'll miss my fishing day, but sometimes I can sneak in some time if we visit the in-laws who have a cabin near the lake.
