InLikeFinz Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Dude we've had funky conditions that have left us scratching our head as well. All I can say is try a rattle trap, let it sink to the bottom and yo yo it back to the boat. Do this on points in deeper water and shallow. You might get a bite or two. It's been real slow around here. Hoping for a turn around this weekend. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 19, 2011 Global Moderator Posted March 19, 2011 What color is the water? If it's not too dark that should be great conditions for a suspending jerkbait. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted March 19, 2011 Super User Posted March 19, 2011 Silver Buddy, drop shot, lipless cranks....all are great this time of the year. Depends on their activity level and location. A slow rolled, soft plastic swimbait was effective last year for me. But we still have ice on our lakes, so it'll be another week or two before I can prove it out once again. Quote
