rboat Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 What channel (cable or satellite) has the most and best bass fishin shows. I may be changing my tv provider to something else and want to get the most bass fishing shows possible. Thanks Currently, I only get (VS) (TNT), & (Espn2) These are very limited. Thanks. Quote
hunt4 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 World Fishing Network by far. I get it on dish network. Quote
OHIO Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 VS and Outdoor Channel have some good shows. TNT has fishing shows? Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted January 26, 2011 Super User Posted January 26, 2011 I have Charter Communications (cable TV) and I also get Versus, ESPN & ESPN2 which have some limited fishing shows. However, the top 3 networks for fresh & salt water fishing, hunting and shooting sports are WFN (World Fishing Network), ODOOR (Outdoor Network) and SPTM (not sure what this one stands for?). I get those as well. And along with my dvr I can be watching all the fishing shows out there, each week, whenever I have a chance to view them. Quote
rboat Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Sorry guys, I meant TNN not TNT. my mistake. Sometimes TNN will put on a fishin show. Quote
Revo_Carrot Stix Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Rboat I went through this same dilemma. I have Dish Network and have tried numerous packages. I got the channel package that includes Versus, Outdoor Channel, and Sportsman Channel, plus some regional Fox channels that cover all the fishing shows I watch. WFN is a great channel; however, Dish Netowrk charges an extra $10/month to get this channel with a handful of other HD channels that suck. WFN spends a lot of air time on saltwater and Canadian-specific fishing shows. I had WFN for about 1 year and only enjoyed 2 shows that I couldn't get anywhere else - Dave Mercer's Facts of Fishing and Karl Kalonka's Extreme Angler TV. All the other shows can be found on VS, OC, ESPN, or Sportsman. Good luck. Quote

I was interested in WFN but didn't see the need to spend the little bit extra for not much more content. Quote
