Biggest Annoyance When Fishing.

Ice and freezing temps. I hate the cold!

I don't mind the heat..... 17 years in Texas,the heat ain't nothing here.Just stay hydrated and bring plenty of water & fluids.Sunscreen and hats help.

My biggest peeve is watching some of these shore anglers breaking every law in the book.No license,over harvesting,keeping fish under the size limit.

Another annoyance is watching one guy set up 5-6 rods all along a tiny bank space not allowing anybody else to fish there. My last fishing trip I ended up getting into an argument with a guy over this. There's a 2-3 rod limit as far as my knowledge goes on most of the places i fish..

My days of Bank fishing is coming to an end soon,I got a goal to get a small boat in my future which will allow me to hit places i know nobody else can reach.

For both quality & quantity now through March is absolutely my favorite time to be on the Bend but you had better plan on rain and temperatures in low 40s.

That's our summer in my state.

On your side. ;D

East side we get 100* in the summer or so.  The lake I fish the most hits around 85-87* water temp and the smallies are super predictable.  Love it.

Worst conditions?

Wind.  Being in a 17' aluminum it blows you all over the place.

Bugs.  Hate the nasty buggars.

People.  Most are inconsiderate.

I love fishing in the rain though.  Never have real good luck, but nothing like a warm rain storm

At least for today - the cold. Water temp was 38, air temp was 26, rod guides icing up, BC reel line guide icing up, fingers icing up, not fun at all... :-/

Although rare, lightning. I am pretty hard core, regardless of extreme cold or heat, I could care less. Wind, Schmind... wussies stay home anyway. Water freezing in the guides while standing in an icy, cold, flowing river when it's 15 degrees F? No problem.  But with lightning, even I will reluctantly throw in the towel if the hair on my skin starts to rise up.

The other annoyance is having awesome weather for a few days and the fish are active and then when I finally get the chance to go, a cold front steps in and shuts them down. I still go fishing though.

1. Wind, if the TM won't hold and the anchor won't hold fishing becomes a chore.

2. Ramp idiots, block the ramp and take forever to get the job done. I think these people are inbreeding and reproducing too quickly around here.

3. Jet skies, It is a good thing I do not keep a gun in my boat or I would be writing this from jail.

4. Heat does not bother me too much, but cold or cold & rain is miserable.
