CAdeltaLipRipper Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 My dad wants to do a big fishing trip next year with me and my grandpa. We were planning on going to Lake Mateos or El salto, but right now there's way too much violence going on in mexico so he doesn't want to try there anytime soon.Falcon was also an option, but it is also experiencing some "technical difficulties". We'd like to go to a place with a very high number of bass, and most of them be very nice quality bass, but also have a very good chance of catch a toad and a half. It doesnt have to be a monster breeding ground lol just a very good population of healthy bass with chances of beasts any suggestions?thanks Quote

Texasfishingtips Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Lake Falcon, hire guide. Don't let the media fool you, I have spoken with many people who have been down there recently, and they all felt 100% safe. If your still worried then fish the US side only. One person I spoke to pulled a 11.4 out of there. Clancy W Quote
