Im sure this has been asked a thousand times but i cant seem to figure out how to add a picture to a thread, it keeps saying the file im trying to add is too big, but I don't know how to shrink the file im trying to add, does anyone care to explain this ?

You can upload it to a photo sharing site like photobucket and just use the IMG code they proved and paste it directly into your post. Done and done. If you want to add it as an attachment, you'll need a program that will allow you to resize the picture into a smaller file size.

Pixresizer will work just fine for doing that.

You can upload it to a photo sharing site like photobucket and just use the IMG code they proved and paste it directly into your post. Done and done. If you want to add it as an attachment, you'll need a program that will allow you to resize the picture into a smaller file size.

Microsoft have a very simple image resizer (google: 'windows image resizer') that allows you to right-click on any picture you have and resize it to be "small", "medium" or "large". It's not sophisticated by any means, but is a really quick and easy way to resize photos for uploading.

Similar tools exist for Mac and Linux, if you use either of those.
