Super User roadwarrior Posted December 1, 2010 Super User Posted December 1, 2010 15. What are a few lures/techniques you have in your Panic Box? I will change colors, profiles, speed of fall, types of presentation and structure type until I find the bite again... No need to panic, only a need to change and stay focused. Those that have met with Big O, especially on the BassResource.com Roadtrrips, know he doesn't need a "Panic Box". Familiar water or brand new to him, the man is a machine! Quote

Big-O Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 A-Jay, Quantums are good'uns nowadays! But like you, I used to use the others...thanks SFA, You catch some nice bass there where you live as well... For many years I made an annual 6 week swing and fished from Tallahassee all the way to Kissimmee chain and Ocala National forest. Those were the days RW, I did panic a bit the first morning at the Pickwick Roadtrip, but not because of the bite or the number of fish we were catching... That 8 1/2" Monsoon rain along with the lightening and wind gusts had me and the 2 Soldier Boys wadin' ankle deep in the bottom of that big Triton all day long. And the double bilges never turned off. Wow what a great and memorable trip all of us had! Nate, Your questions were well thought out and glad to help a fellow BR Member... Senile1, that's exactly how Nate coaxed me into the interview... I still have wrist scars and nasal drainage from the ordeal And MrsM, Glad you enjoyed the discussion as well. There's just not enough Fishin' Gals like yourself in our world today... Fo Sho Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
