Super User A-Jay Posted November 5, 2010 Super User Posted November 5, 2010 And to really cement in what the next 5 months will be like here, it's snowing today . . . . . But I'm trying to stay positive. I was able to fish and catch some decent fish right up to Thanksgiving last year. And to help get me through the hard water period, I've decided to make this link my home page. A-Jay http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/fishingtips/news/story?page=LunkerCam Quote

Vinny Chase Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 We are having crazy weather here in Minnesota. Last year by this time it had already snowed numerous times, and this weekend is going to be in the high 50's! I think I have said "this is my last time out" at least 5 times so far Quote

farmpond1 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I am starting to get depressed as well. I need to take up a winter sport like Snowboarding. We just had our first sites on snow this year. How about ice fishing.... Agreed. I'm not one for tipups (am not very good at multi tasking) but with a decent flasher, ice fishing doesn't have to be boring. If you are willing to move around and drill the required holes to find/follow the fish, ice fishing can be rather fun. It isn't just sitting on a bucket staring down at a hole (well, not usually anyway). Quote
