Kevinator1 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Just finished winterizing the boat today. Washed it up and getting ready to wax it for winter storage. (Stays in my garage) I hate this time of year. Oh well, guess I'll start cleaning up my rod and reels and organize my tackle for next spring. Plus, scanning my catalogs to see what other goodies I can order. I think I can make it till next spring. What do you guys think? Quote

fishermantony Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I'm planning one more trip for next weekend before I pack it in for the winter and I am definitely dreading it! To top things off, my lights have gone out on my trailer and it looks like I have to replace them completely. At least waiting for spring wont be nearly as bad as missing this past spring through summer being in the middle east. I think that's really going to help me get through this winter. I like to think that there is alot I can still do to learn and get better over the winter. Quote

Kevinator1 Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 Hey Tony, Thanks for your service over seas. I know all real Americans appreciate our servicemen and women. So yes, you will have a much better winter even if there is a lot of bad weather. Gotta be better than the best day over in the middle east. Quote

fishermantony Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 It's definitely not the weather that is stopping me, it was 28 degrees at launch time for a tourney I fished on the 18th and 19th of Oct. Fished last weekend in 25 mph winds. The last local bass tourney that we have for the year is this coming weekend and it's appropriately called "The Frostbite." Quote
