OK, one of my neighbors caught a huge bass. He was so excited he, just didn't know what to do. My dad was on his pier fishing and offered to weigh it for him. His digital scales said 9lb.15oz. Wow! Nice bass! My dad pulls out a polaroid camera and takes a picture, then he say's to my neighbor, why don't you put the bass in this barrel to keep it alive and go home and get your camera and we can get some really good photo's of your catch. This is where it all went wrong. He was holding his prize catch and just flung it back into the lake. He then ran to his house to get his camera and only when he got back did he realize just what he had done. Unbelievable. He just sat down and shook his head saying, that was a really big bass I just thew away!!!!!!!!!!! My dad is still laughing.

It's good to know I'm not the only one in the world capable of things like this.

That bass had a huge head.  Seemed a little malnourished.  Maybe next time he catches it, it'll have put on some girth and weigh 12 lbs.

That's what I was thinking. Imagine what that sucker will look like this spring!

I've turned big ones loose before looking at the picture on the digital camera. Caught a 7lber a few years ago fishing with a buddy and after I turned her loose and tried to look at the picture all I saw was a really close up picture of his thumb  >:( . Oh well, just have to catch her again and get another picture!

I have a couple pictures of bass close ups but you can't tell who is holding the fish.
