Owasco Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I'd like to take a little poll. What do you fish for when Bass is out of season? Or don't you fish at all (I Doubt That). I do my best to target Walleye. But I'll chase Perch and Crappie on occasion too. How about you? Quote
lynyrdsky1 Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I fish year round but when im not fishing (mainly when it gets colder) im duck and deer hunting mainly duck Quote
MattinOK Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I stock the freezer with crappie in winter and summer. Anything else is bass time. Quote
NateFollmer Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I bass fish year round until the ice comes. Then I hit what streams didn't ice over for trout with the fly rod! Quote
Quillback Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 There is no off-season for bass here in Arkansas. When it gets cold it's time to break out the jerk baits. If it's the dog days of summer, time to go night fishing. Of course, the best times are fall and spring. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted August 30, 2010 Super User Posted August 30, 2010 No season here in Ohio , thank God. Quote

zaraspook_dylan2 Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 When I'm done school I'm moving down south where there's no season, because up here in the winter of Ontario (off season!!) I stare at my tackle box and constantly tie on new lures according to what I read online, and drool over the thought of being back on the water come June. Quote

Dec 1st - 3rd Sat in June is now catch and release, artificial lures only. You're welcome! PS- Good to see a fellow Binghamtonian on the board! Quote

bass or bass ? Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Bass is never out of season here. I do fish for other species on my fishing trips though. Largemouth and Stripers during the day, channel and flathead cats added to the mix at night. Quote
Gorgebassman Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I fish bass year around although there are times when I chase walleye as well as steelhead and work in a little deer elk and bird hunting. Quote
