trevor Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 At the beggining of this season, I knew next to nothing about bass fishing. I could catch them on worms, but it stopped there. Last winter, I decided to learn to fish for bass. Reading and watching as much as I could, especially on this site, I have gained alot of confidence in less than a year. I did alot of bass fishing this summer, usually with good results, given it was mostly ponds and small lakes. Not saying in any way I'm some great, or even good, bass fisherman, but I'm starting to get the hang of it, thanks to you all. Just today I fished in a location I never caught a bass in before, though I fished it many times, and today I caught over 10 bass! So thank you all for answering all my stupid questions, but you should know it wasn't all for nothing! Quote

Daddyodo Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Congratulations that's awesome ;D I have also learned alot from these guys, not quite at the level you have gotten too but my day will come. :D Quote
MrWrinkle Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Agreed!! This has been my most successful bass year to date, and a great deal of it is due to stuff I've read on here. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted September 8, 2010 Super User Posted September 8, 2010 I really wish I had discovered this site earlier in my bass fishing career. The wealth of knowledge here is just staggering. You can sit back and read just the articles alone for days. Once you start really reading through some of the different threads you realize how much more there is to learn and try. Quote
Red Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Couple years ago I didn't know much about LMB fishing. I owe everything I know now to this site. I had no one to teach me or anything like that. I moved to Texas and knew I wanted to learn to catch LMB. I did some googling to find some info to get me started and I found BR. I read here everyday, and most days I learn something new. Quote
zaraspook_dylan2 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 There's always something new to learn here! I've learnt so much from reading the articles, and this year was one of my best thanks to this site! Quote
