This is exactly what I use year round; I just change locations, rate of fall, & speed of retrieval

Texas Rig with a 3/16 oz weight (worm, lizard, creature, or craw worm) for winds below 10 mph

Texas Rig with a 1/4 oz weight (worm, lizard, creature, or craw worm) for wind above 10 mph

Oldham's Lures Trailer Hitch Jig, 3/8 oz Black/Blue, Gene Larew Salty Hawg Craws in 6 with 2 ½ cut off the tail

Bill Lewis ½ oz Rat-L-Trap Gold/Black Back/Orange Belly or Red Chrome

Rattle Head Spinner Bait 3/8 oz White/Chartreuse shirt & double willow leaf gold/silver

My standard line advice:

Spinning tackle: Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft #6 (.010" diameter, 11.9 lb test)

Baitcasting gear: Hybrid or Hybrid Ultra Soft #12 (.013" diameter, 19.5 lb test)

Note:

When I'm fishing from a boat, I ALWAYS want to have certain

baits/ lures rigged: Jig, soft plastic, crankbait, spinnerbait and

usually a jerkbait.

Heres pretty much what I carry anytime for bass

1 7 foot m/h casting with a low profile reel and 12-17 pound copoly

1 swimbait rod with 17-25 copoly if I'm planning to throw alot of swimbaits but all the baits below I can throw on the m/h

some 4/0 ewg

some fat ikas in dark colors

some senkos 5's or 6's and some 7's dark colors

mattlures perch, bass, and gill or crappie

spook

baby wake perch

2 6 inch hudds in 2 different rof

kuttail, or jellyworm and a variety of weights

some heavy floru leaders if I'm throwing swimbaits where esox live

Big-O's are my favourite crankbait, but i didnt know there was a wooden version.
