guilford Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Will night fishing be worth while in stained or muddy water or only night fish in clear water lakes? Quote
garland7 Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Any of the above can be good, just have to slow down the more off colored the water. If you fishing muddy water, try to find the cleanest water available. Be patient, sometimes real long night, but sometimes worth it. Quote
Super User Raul Posted July 3, 2010 Super User Posted July 3, 2010 Bass don 't need to see a bait to bite it. Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 3, 2010 Super User Posted July 3, 2010 when fishing muddy water or at night or both use lures that move a lot of water Quote
brushhoggin Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 I second Catt's input. Bigger, darker baits with sufficient water displacement. War eagle has a dark purple spinnerbait for night fishing that has one big, shiny, purple colorado on it. I bite a half inch off the head of a junebug red baby brushog, and throw it on there for a trailer. And if the moon is out, i drag a big *** lizard across the surface in the pads or near the bank for some topwater action. Catt got me all excited talkin about a big jig through some grass in 12' of water, i need to give that a shot. it's all great fun till the mosquitoes become an insane, cloudy swarm Quote
florida strain Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 i prefer fishing stained water ..day or night. Quote
