tcain38 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 I think I read this on here once before but I for got. What is your favorite thing to take with you on the boat to eat while fishing. I usually take a ham sandwich and some chips and a Pepsi. One of my buddies told me a guy he know takes a hole bucket of chicken from KFC when he goes and eats on it all night, just puts it under the console. Quote

Super User Goose52 Posted May 26, 2010 Super User Posted May 26, 2010 I take a couple of fruit bars and a couple snack-size boxes of raisins. I take some water but usually don't drink it unless it's really hot (no head in the canoe!). I spend as much as 6 to 8 hours in the canoe - if the bite is good, I'm usually too busy to think of eating. When the bite slows, then I grab the munchies... Quote

b.Lee Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 If I am fishing for a few hours, just gatorade, if for tournament, 2 Cliff bars, 2 granola bars, 4 waters, 2 gatorades. And a Snickers almond bar. Quote
cufishin Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Something that became a tradition for my Dad and I was peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. I almost never eat them at home or anywhere else for that matter. We did a considerable amount of saltwater fishing when we both lived in Seattle and I don't really remember how it came to be but we never went out for a day of fishing without our PB&J. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted May 26, 2010 Super User Posted May 26, 2010 If I am fishing for a few hours, just gatorade, if for tournament, 2 Cliff bars, 2 granola bars, 4 waters, 2 gatorades. And a Snickers almond bar. x2 on the Cliff bars ~ they don't melt and they don't freeze. A-Jay Quote
