FishingBuds Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Fishen show right now? I've been liken the boys on "The Bass Pro's" I like their teaching style, they get right to it, and throw in the extra pointers here and there Quote
BassinTx Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I enjoy watching The Bass Pro's as well. It has been educational and helped me out on the water a time or two. Quote
D4u2s0t Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I can't stand majority of fishing shows because they're nothing more than an infomercial for their sponsors. But I like the show with Ike City Limits. It's just about fishing, it's not a sales pitch. Quote
aarogb Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 The Bass Pros is a good show but I am tired of watching re-runs of it. Right now Classic Patterns is my favorite. Quote
BassinTx Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I haven't seen Classic Patterns. Can you get it on DVD? Quote
I.rar Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 i love ikes show. bass pros and strike kings shows are good too. Quote
Senkoman12 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 i love city limits and the bass pros is something you can learn from Quote
Stasher1 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I enjoy watching The Bass Pro's as well. It has been educational and helped me out on the water a time or two. x2 I have the '07, '08, and '09 seasons on DVD and will pick up the '10 season when it comes out. Quote
basser223 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Ultimate match fishing was pretty cool and the strike king pro journal Quote
unageo09 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 city limits and one more cast w/ shaw grigsby Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Yes you can get Classic Patterns on DVD. It's interesting the responses so far favor shows that are instructional. The producers should pay attention to that. The 30 minute infomercials are a drag. I miss Joe Thomas and Anglers On Tour. Oh and there's Oneil Outside and the Truuuuuuuuue Tunnnnggggston Jeeeeg. Classic patterns is really good. We have a local show on FSNW called Anglers Experience and It's pretty darn good for a low budget show. Quote
Super User Catt Posted June 10, 2010 Super User Posted June 10, 2010 Hook N' Look, while most anglers are looking at the bass n bait, I'm looking at the surroundings Quote
adclem Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Bass Pros and Hank Parker as my two favorite shows. Later, Quote
tnbassfisher Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 For bass fishing, I like Ike's City Limits show, and of course Bill Dance. But I have really started liking Gillz n Finz lately. Quote
CAdeltaLipRipper Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I like the Bass Pros or Pro Team Journal the best. For fun fishing, I prefer Jimmy Houston 8-) Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted June 11, 2010 Super User Posted June 11, 2010 I used to glue into Denny Brauer's "Bass Class". Now WGFS and Hank Parker. I honestly think the fishing shows of say 10 years ago were much better. MHO. Quote
Gangley Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 City Limits. Ike doesnt push products down your throat, and he really does a good job about showing how to get patterns started and how he fishes certain lures. I like it because it's instructional, and not just one long infomercial promoting Brand X products. Quote
unageo09 Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 I'd like Bill Dance a lot better if he would take that Tennessee hat off. Quote
sexy shad 12 Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 pro team journal and fishing university and one more cast with shaw grisby . Quote
Bass Tracker 20 Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Hook "n" look has always been fascinating to me Quote
DeanFishesNY Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Lunkerville, City Limits, Bass Pros, Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston.. all good shows to me Quote
