I was walleye fishing before daylight and hung a fish. When I got it to the boat I could tell it was a white bass so I tried to swing it in, after all it was a white bass and they don't get too big. My rod bowed and I banged it into the side of the boat it is a thousand wonders I got it in. It weighed 4lbs. 2ozs. just 14ozs. from the state record.

After some deliberation I decided to get a replica made. I have been doing some looking on the web and cannot find a place. Some places do good work but want you to take out a loan. Others just look like junk and still pricey. What is the going rate and where would you go? I have measurements and pictures. I want something that looks like it but I can't afford museum work. Thanks for the help.

What a beast of a white bass!

I had spent some time searching around online for good replica-mount taxidermists earlier this year (just in case lol)

Below is a link to a site that I felt looked very realistic. However, please note I have no personal experience with the business.

Best of luck in your search!

Dang! What a hawg of a white bass....I wouldn't mind catching them so much if they were all that size. Even half that size would be nice.  ;)

Try contacting King Sailfish mounts in Ft. Lauderdale Fl. I have heard they have great replicas on LM bass, but not sure on the white. Nice fish!

I second lake fork. Have not had them do one yet, but have been there and they do incredible work. Price seemed to be about what I thought the going rate would be. Don't know if they have molds for that fish or not, email they will tell ya.
