Senkoman12 Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 i mainly only pay attention to whats happening in oneida lake but it could be the same thing that is happening in Skineateles lake Quote
chromedog Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 I never heard anything on Cayuga, and I just checked the DEC report and there is nothing. But there was a fish kill on Skaneateles last week or so and it was attributed to Furunculosis bacterium and not VHS. From my understanding, it is bacteria that can affect the fish when it stressed (example - spawning time). I would give the DEC a ring and let them know and they will run out and test it. Funny it is two finger lakes though. Quote
