Where are the best places to throw them? Conditions?

Deep water structure in any conditions. 8-) Check out the "best of" section. You will find much good info there about C-rigging .

Personally, if you see me with a c-rig in hand I am in trouble.

Same here until the past 2 years. I used to call it the q-rig. (quitter rig)....now after several years of refusing to throw it anymore, I'm throwing it on a regular basis again now.

Anytime the fish are relating/feeding on the bottom, thats when I throw it. I'm like everyone else on 'where' I throw it but I seldom throw it in less than 10 ft of water.
