Rio Maverick Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 From the pics it looks like the kind of place that I love to fish. Quote
bassnbtom Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 just to let everyone know I fished this spot and at 8am I caught a 3lbs shoal bass(blue silver floating rapala), but after for the next 2 days NOTHING.. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted May 4, 2010 Super User Posted May 4, 2010 Small river/creek, take you a 1/8 oz white spinnerbait and walk the bank and cover lots of water.Hit all the cover you can and make multiple shots to the good looking spots.Look for any bends.Bends cause a current break behind them. Also hit spots where it shallows up then gets a little deeper. This is one of the quickest and most surefire ways to find out whats in a place like that. Quote
Mottfia Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 also carry a 1/4 oz jig for those holes that you can't cast a spinenrbait into. Mottfia Quote
bassnbtom Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 Well guys, I have tried this spot for the past 3 days at all different times and all different baits. I still just can't pull anything out of this area, but I KNOW they're there I mean I caught a REALLY nice bass there, Thanks everyone for the advice, and I DID try it....just not working out in that spot anymore.
