This weekends non stop downpour has flooded a lot of middle tn. The orpyland hotel, opry mills mall to include Bass Pro is flooded. The mall looks like a island. News says boats among other things have floated away. Anyone thats interested can checkout local news about it.

Sounds ideal for kayak fishing. You could fish in the store and when you snag a lure, just paddle over to the rack and grab another one.  ;)

There might be some cheap tackle being liquidated from that store soon, unless it's a health hazard to sell that stuff.  I don't know.

since its flooded, im guessing the water is muddy. id try throwing a large profile jig and dragging it over the shelves. stick with dark colors like black and blue. you may also want to consider bouncing some cranks off the checkout counters to get some reactions bites.... ;)

They have some big sows in those tanks at the BPS stores and I think clothing racks make good structure.

I wonder if the fish in the tanks have swam away? Probably have some serious deals when the flood is over.
