senkoking Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Has anyone read any bass fishing chapter books? Quote
Ben_Daniels Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I've read a bunch of bass fishing books some of my favorites are Big Bass Magic by Dough Hannon, Secrets of a Champion by Kevin Van Dam, Fishing on The Edge by Mike Iaaconelli, and Bass Madness by Ken Schultz Quote
ziltoid Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 My favorite book is "Fish Have No Hands" by Mike Gardner. It's geared towards bay fishing for Spotted Bay Bass, but the techniques have really taught me to slow down and detect pressure bites. Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted April 26, 2010 Super User Posted April 26, 2010 I think everyone should read all of Buck Perry's stuff. He is the father of structure fishing. Some of his stuff is dated and doesn't apply to many of the situations we face now, but is amazing how much of the language we use everyday to discuss fishing started with his writing. Charlie Brewer's book on Slider Fishing should be required reading for everyone who bass fishes. I think the In-Fisherman handbooks are very good. Quote
