Ike hooked his camera man really bad. He got him with a spinner bait on the top of the head. He had to get two stitches. first time I've ever seen that on TV...

I could only imagine if Ike got hooked!!!

ya i saw that, today i had a snag and i was shore fishing and the hook came back and got me in the face lol.  just a small cut though.

Ya i did see that looked like it really hurt. Not to change the subject, but what shaky head worm does he use? I would assume a berkley but just making sure.

They wouldn't tell ya if he was using another type.  ;)

I noticed Ike was using a Shimano Symetre when he caught his record 10lb Trout on CLF Milwaukee. I thought Daiwa was his sponsor last year when that was filmed. I saw he was wearing an Abu Garcia jacket at the classic last month.

I love CLF! Ike shows he has all the problems we regular anglers do. Stepped on rods, hooking friends by accident and my favorite...cutting birdsnests out of our baitcasters after a bad cast.

this is one of the fishing shows I like to watch,  because it's about fishing, it's not a half hour commercial.  great show!

He popped the hook out with some braid line twisted around the shank.  Does anyone know this technique to get a hook out with the barb past the skin?

This might come in handy knowing how to do this.

If you watch the episode again, you'll see where they talk about it not being his boat, his rods/reels, etc etc.  Theres a part where he broke a rod then had the oh crap moment when he realized it wasn't his.

yep, i saw that one.  I'm sure it was replaced, and how many people can say that ike lost a fish on their rod and broke it lol

I actually thought about that episode earlier today. I was fly fishing and hit myself in the back of the head with a big bass popper. It stung a bit but didn't stick in, fortunately.

I'm just stoked that Diretv now has Versus back so I can watch the best fishing show on TV: City Limits!

That's what I'm thinking.  I record all the fishing shows to DVD-RW, watch when able then erase it for some more.  Currently watching what I recorded today.
