Grits Gresham "The Complete Book of Bass Fishing"

I found a hard cover book while cruising through an antique store, during lunch. I see a book under a bunch of cowboy photos, pull it out and find the "Complete Book of Bass fishing".  Oh my goodness, I can barely put it down. First edition (I don't know if there were any re-prints), tons of photos inside. 

Has anyone read this book? Or better yet met Grits Gresham or fished with him?

He was great to watch on TV.

Wasn't really known as a bass fisherman, but that never stops anyone.

He was an outdoor writer from "my day" lol. Glad you are enjoying a good read. I haven't read his book, but found one in a used book store a while back and perused it. Lots to be gleaned, even from the 'old stuff'. A lot has been forgotten of course.

He was an outdoor writer along with being a contributing writer to BASSMASTER magazine way back.  Worked with Delhi boats and helped in designing the Terry bass boats.  Those were considered one of the cadillac boats of the day.
