I have been thinking about getting a Tilley Airflo hat.  I keep getting hung-up on the fabric.  It doesn't seem like a breathable material, so how can it get good reviews for being cool in hot weather?

I would go with the Columbia Omni shade Bora Bora Booney.  I work outside and wear on all year long.  It is the coolest, most comfortable hat available.

I've been very happy with my Airflo.  I've used the same hat in Brazil for the last several years.

I have an Airflo and I'm very satisfied with it. It goes thru the washer fine, just follow the directions for drying. Geat sun protection & is cool in PA hot weather.
