Cire Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I found an online mapping website that I have been looking for for awhile and I wanted everyone to be aware of: http://www.angling-technologies.com/ It uses google maps and overlays usgs topo's or water depth contour lines. You can use google normal, satellite or hybrid as the base layer. They do not have all of the states but they have mine! But best of all it is FREE! Eric Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted February 6, 2010 Super User Posted February 6, 2010 Really a great site! THANKS! Quote
IwillChooseFreeWill Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I have a hard time using that site and I am a computer tech myself... I found this site tends to work much better although the smaller ponds/lakes do not always have the best topo for underwater http://mapper.acme.com/ Quote
kikstand454 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 i must be doing something wrong with both of these mao sites. i cant get depth contours or topo for the water/lakes on either site. without that.... the map is useless to me. lol. im confused. pretty sites though. Quote
Eternal Angler Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Awesome find, I hope they have my state Michigan. I've been using DNR maps. Quote
