HOW DO YOU PITCH WITHOUT BACKLASHING?!?!?!

IMO, the first thing you need to do is disregard the flippin switch.  I can not flip with the switch.  I back the spool tension knob off, put the brake on all the way, and do smooth easy movements.  Any quick whip of the rod will result in a backlash at first.  Good luck
