Super User Jig Man Posted March 21, 2009 Super User Posted March 21, 2009 We are in the midst of a really good jerkbait bite. I have been using them hard for a few days. It is generally windy and putting on the first one at home is fairly easy. When I want to change them there seems to always be 2 or 3 of them hooked together. Fooling around with them gets me close to a meltdown and gets the boat way out of position. Do any of you have good ways to keep them from fouling each other when in 360 storage boxes? Quote
Mac1 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 If you rubber band or twist tie the trebles together I think you'll find that jerks and cranks tangle alot less. Quote
OnthePotomac Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Buy treble hook jackets for them. BPS and Cabelas sells them very inexpensively for a pack. They work. They come in two sizes, but the large is for a very large treble. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted March 21, 2009 Super User Posted March 21, 2009 The Falcon boxes are an option: http://www.***.com/descpage-FTO709.html Quote
adclem Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 The Falcon boxes are an option: http://www.***.com/descpage-FTO709.html X2, they work perfectly for treble style hooks. No more tangles or frustration of trying to get them in and out of the box. Later, Quote
djmax22 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 I own every Falcon box and are great for the LC pointer 100 and Xrap-8. Anything LARGER will not fit in the Falcon jerkbait box. If you have a lot of large jerkbait/stickbaits would suggest either the Plano stickbait box or the BPS XPS double sided storage case. Quote
