I ran a pool last year at work . We had each guy pick random (out of a bucket ) anglers, and that's who we had for the whole tournament.  We each had 7/8 anglers each, or something like that.  One guy had an extra angler, and drew that through another drawing.  Some had strong horses, while others had long shots.  Last year, not ONLY top names got into the daily lead, and lunkers. We had daily winners for weight and lunker, and it was a blast.  I also cut out the anglers faces from the Bassmaster Magazine, and then created an pictorial roster for each guy in the pool.  That way, we could all follow at home and connect the anglers to the "knuckle head" that just took some of our money.

It was really fun, and I think it cost each of us...$10

(8 payouts---2 per day---for 4 days)

The extra $2/angler bought a round when we got together to hand out the winnings.

We had 7 guys for our pool, and it was a blast.

Simp, I agree. He must be snowed in or SOMETHING!

Maybe it is time for Glen to also start a Bass Anonymous Program for those on the board who get serious addicted to posting while snowed in. ;D

BTW Bobby, If you get a pool started, Rattle Head is in.

Actually-when I wasnt posting much Iwas very busy- I developed some new products for ICAST -some new R&D for Megastrike- A new plastic line-About 80% is finished- The New SHAK-ELITE  or SHAK-E3 is in the works for unveiling at The Classic. The New StrikeBack SpinnerBait. Dont let anyone kid ya -doing this kind of work is trial and error. If it dosent swim right or track right-its back to the drawing board. It takes a lot of money and time to do it. Every dime I take in goes back into developing new product. REMEMBER WHAT I SAID ALMOST EVERY TIME ON HERE "I AM JUST LIKE YOU GUYS" . NO silver spoons here-I was born and raised in the Bronx NY and had nothing except great parents and family.Anyway my mother always told me "Find a job you love-and you will never work a day in your life" I live by that every day. OK leave me alone !!! Glenn What do ya think-get a spread sheet of Classic contender names- have guys pic a contender- guess weights and fill in the blocks -if they go over in weight- your out. Do something  instead of bustn my butt all day. LOL

Great idea Bobby.  Let me work out the details and see if the sponsors are on board for this (I know you and Dow are!).  If so, then I'll announce it here.

Thanks!
